Welcome to the craigslist community subreddit. Craigslist is totally controlled by trolls since it's founders insist on user moderation, known trolls who are or have been institutionalized run the site. I’m apartment hunting right now. Hopefully it'll eliminate that issue.
Additionally, craigslist took a hit in 2018 when they decided to shut down the personals sections of their us sites.
